hiroshima doesn't give a flying fuck about the site and moderators are just as apathetic towards it, gatekeeping also didn't work and we'll suffer the consequences of it all. Get over it, 4chan is just a normalfag website now like xitter or facebook. 
We lost, they won, long before the hack. The hack was just a reminder that 4chan isn't our place anymore.

all the altchans have felt like theyve been on their last legs throughout the time 4chan was down
i realized that given how little people actually migrated to another chan (other than sh*rty) none of them ever really cared about the site in the first place, just some place to be used and discarded 
s4s was never really the culture i wanted either, but all the ones i was part of before got destroyed and replaced with constant rage baiting and spam just because "its funny" (old bant and r9k for example)
it used to be that if you wanted to ragebait and troll people you'd go to other sites to fuck with them and laugh at them on 4chan, not the other way around

why are soyjaks not a perma b& on 4chan now?

Soon there will be NO places left. 
During the downtime I spent time on every imageboard I could find and all of them (including 8chan) were shit. Not only slow, but also full of the same retards who think that "hehe racist frog is so le funny XDD" and "i quote your post and put a soyjak image on it and hehe i owned you so much" kind of conversations. Same issues that 4chan has and had.

This is what exactly ruined not only 4chan, but also the whole internet. I'm maybe pessimistic but I doubt that we'll ever have a site that will be not only fun but also have the intelligence to talk about serious topics too. 
sluts4sale is still a great site but I already know that there's no point in making threads of my hobbies because nobody would care (I tried).

smuglo.li/a/ had a decent culture back on 8ch pre 2018 because they went full militant gatekeeping against /pol/ cancer and /v/ cancer but unfortunately breathed their own farts too much and now their auto maid is overtuned and bans every other post you make and they ban all of the sort of genuine funposting that /a/ culture had natively

my stress levels are always too high for what a human should have to endure when i basically live almost like a neet
these days im much happier just talking to people whos face i can see or voice i can hear
