i developed an off putting relationship with my laptop when i tried to install coreboot on it, i don't think i even got out the house for anything other than coffee when i was doing it, i think i spent 3 weeks in total sleeping 4-6 hours a day while trying to make a hack so it can work on my laptop
when a ram slot died i paid around $400 in total to take it to different technicians so they can solder a new one even if it would've been much cheaper if i changed the motherboard
