Throw it to an old hard drive or ssd or sd card and move it half the country away someplace that you know it wont get stolen, then try changing your life, this way you won't regret anything
I tried going cold turkey like this to watch my reaction except stored my RAM sticks someplace instead and got severely depressed straight after cause i basically had nothing to distract me from the crushing loneliness and racing thoughts, so i went back to take them the next week lol

Not OP but its awful for your mental health everywhere you go for the most part, unless you're learning/reading something, 
The only times i feel good are when im achieving something be it in a video game or irl, the other times it's talking to someone I like being around
