They're reverse positions of psyche that suffer basically the same, I thought only of the aspect of their ability to be more passing as something to resent. I thought that because they had a body I wanted that they were lucky when really they suffer the same as me, I was stupidly going off my perspective as mtf. They suffer with a gender role they had to abandon just as much as trans girls do, it's just different and reverted in many ways like being taken less seriously as a man and as trans, a loneliness pretty unique to them, lost female friendships and social dynamics, being seen as a threat to their own biological gender, a monthly reminder of their bodies gender. And they may be pretty as men but some of them hate that just as trans women hate their body. As trans girls want to be hyper fem, trans men wanna be hyper masc all the same and their are exceptions on both sides who can accept their androgyny. Trans men give up the feminine life's I wanted for myself, emotionally open friendships and relations with people that feel heartfelt as people care about your feelings and everything "female" in fashion and deco being normal to them, albeit if you were a normal girl. I resented all that from ftm too, but now I think it's what makes me wanna love them more. Although I think trans men get to keep their feminine openness largely, maybe because it is something everyone would enjoy if they developed it. I think we all should take some things from both "gender norms" and not gate-keep or resent anyone for being predisposed to something. Just a lesson I think I am learning...
